Donald Hagman Obituary
Donald A. Hagman, age 84, peacefully passed at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday December 26, 2017. Veteran US Navy. Preceded in death by his son, James Hagman; parents Robert and Laurene (Gassman) Hagman; sisters, Sr. Laurene Hagman, O.P., Beatrice (Charles) Elgin, Betty (Louis) Spencer; brothers, Robert, Richard and Stephen; brother-in-law, Fred Schumaker. Survived by his wife, Jo Ann; children, Mary Decker, Sandra Barnett, Debra Hazelwood; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Schumaker; brother, Dr. Thomas (Sue) Hagman; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may call 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Egan-Ryan Funeral Home 403 E. Broad St. Funeral Mass will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel 6440 S. High St. Private entombment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute in his memory to Kindred Hospice. Special thanks to Dr. Scott Kurzer and the Kindred Hospice team.

Grandpa,
You will definitely be missed. I will never forget the time in my life that we got the closest. You taking chemo to fight the cancer, and me being pregnant with Steven. Going to our appointments together, being sick together. Thank you for figuring out what the docs couldn't. I would never have known I was hypo glycemic. Also thank you for encouraging me to learn. I love you.

Things seem so different now. I know you will always be looking down and watching over me and my kids. I hope heaven is peaceful and free like they say. I hope the angels know what they have. I will always love you and never forget all the times we had together. Xoxo
