Donald Jantz Obituary
1950 - 2015
Donald E. Jantz, 64, of Kenosha passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at home after bravely fighting cancer for eight months.
Born on June 15, 1950, he was the son of the late Alfred and Josephine (Kozlik) Jantz. He received his Bachelor of Science Degrees in Engineering and Business from Parkside University. On Sept. 1, 1976, in Las Vegas, Nev., he married Sharon Hass. Don was owner along, with his brothers and sister, of Jantz Yard 4 Automotive Inc. in Kenosha. A family business founded by his father. Don was a dedicated worker for the family business and was very proud that his sons were employed there also. He enjoyed staying fit, golfing, supporting the Packers and Brewers. Don loved to travel, especially to warm and lovely beaches for fun and relaxation. He also enjoyed playing blackjack at the casinos.
He will always be remembered by his loving wife of 39 years, Sharon of Kenosha; two sons, Brian (friend Sara Lehrke) and Brad (fiancé Gisela Sosa) both of Kenosha; three brothers, Butch (Carol) Jantz, Steve (Wendy) Jantz and Dennis (Pam) Jantz all of Kenosha; his sister, Peggy (Bob) Kossow of Kenosha; as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by, his parents.
Funeral services for Don will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at St. Marys Lutheran Church (2001 - 80th Street). A visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospice Alliance would be greatly appreciated by the family.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Knight of St. Catherines Cancer Center and Dr. Evans at Froedtert Hospital for their compassionate care.

Please accept my condolences. I've known the family since visiting Mrs Jantz at the farmhouse with my dad about 1948. I worked part time for Al and Herb 1951 to 1953.
