Karen, I am so sorry for your loss. I have been praying for you and the boys. Donald was a wonderful man who always thought about others. I remember him checking on me when we lived in the same neighborhood and I was going through my divorce. He always seemed to have a smile on his face when I saw him. Lean on the Lord, he will get you and the boys through this very difficult time.

Dear Malkemus Family, Donald was a classmate of mine back in our Midlo. H.S. days. He was the most trustworthy and dependable friend anyone could ever have. And his sense of humor and ability to make me laugh got me through the worst of days at school. Please know that he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

I remember working with Donald in the yard with fondness. We would share lunch and speak of our families. Donald would always express his love for his wife and his boys and how proud he was of all of you! There's not much room in a man's heart for much and Donald's was filled up with love for his wife and boys. We will indeed miss him!

I just want to say how sorry I am for the loss of Donald. I don't remember him that well. But I do remember the rest of the family. Mrs. Malkemus taught me piano lessons about 20 years ago! I am so sad to hear about what happened and how your whole family is being affected by this tramatic event. May you find strength in the lord and I will be thinking of you all.

God's plan to call this good man and our dear friend away may not be understood, but faith and the memories we keep of Donald as a loving son, devoted husband and father, caring uncle and brother, and a friend who always had time to help, will provide some comfort to us. We miss him. God Bless You All.
