A world without Don is missing something vital. He was my roommate at Oklahoma A. & M. College during the summer of 1946 after both of us had served in World War II. Don's wit and humor were both "outside the box". It was nice taking 8 hours of Calculus with him that summer, because we leaned on each other's ability to make it a memorable experience. That was the beginning of a life-long friendship that seemingly grew with time and distance. Hope's and my hearts go out to Marge and the rest of the family with the consolation that Heaven just got a little more crowded.

I am saddened by Don's passing. We (and other friends) shared many laughs. Why he even offered to play piano for me and Sheri when we opened "our business." Don, God's grace be with you.

I am saddened to learn that the world is now minus one more spreader of joy. When our daughter Anne was practicing the piece "Georgia on My Mind" on the piano to perform at the Topper Review, Don would come to our house to help her and they had such a good time. Our whole family would join them in sharing jokes and laughter. Another member has joined the Heavenly Choir. Thank you for sharing him Maxine, he touched many lives in such a joyful way.

I'm sorry to hear about Don. Back in the mid 80's, I use to be their Travel Agent in Los Alamos, and yes, he always had his camera. God Bless!
