Donald Miller Obituary
A proud graduate of Maine-Endwell High School, Class of 1972, Donald went on to build a long and dedicated career as an engineer with UHS Hospital. Over the course of 31 years, he contributed his skills and commitment to the hospital before retiring.
Donald also served his country honorably through his time in both the United States Army and the National Guard. His service reflected a deep sense of duty and pride that remained with him throughout his life.
Beyond his professional and military accomplishments, Donald was known for his vibrant personality and love for music. He had a gift for entertaining others with his singing and delighted in making people smile. A passionate performer, he had bands Grease Release, The Brakes, and The Hurricanes. His musical journey led him to open for many well-known musicians who visited the area-memories he cherished and loved to recount.
Donald was a loving father to Heather Miller and Donald Miller. He was also a devoted grandfather to Ashley Slater, Kaleb Miller, Kameron Miller, Keagan Miller, and Kolden Miller. His legacy continues through two great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is also remembered by his brothers Neil Miller and William Wellman.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Donald's honor on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at American Legion Post 1700 on Maple Street in Endicott, New York (13760). Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a man whose warmth and music touched many lives.
Donald P. Miller will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort and joy to those who carry it forward.

Donnie and I worked in the power plant at UHS for almost 18 years. He wasn't just a co-worker, he was a friend. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. RIP Donnie

To The Family of Don: Words cannot express my deepest sympathy to you all. I worked with Don at UHS Binghamton General Hospital for 22 years. Don was a close friend and will be truly missed. He had a great personality and was always too generous with anything you needed. His motto was to live life like it was your last day. If there was anyone that exemplified that more I´d be hard pressed to find them. We had many laughs and that I will remember forever. My wife and I would always try to see him perform and will miss that. I´m sure the first request he had was to sing with Elvis. I´m only certain that the Lord made that happen. Don and I met at Endicott Forging 1973 and later enlisted in the Army together our lives crisscrossed through the years and as you may guess we had our fair share of good times.
As I stand here with a hand salute I will leave with this.

I went to school with donnie we all hang out on Lawndale st in endwell. Donnie was my best friend and we spent alot of time together. Drinking wine in high school and getting in a little trouble. We spent alot of time at the chuck wagon, three little pigs. These were the best times of my life and I will miss him.

Sorry for your loss of Donnie. Are payers. We remember Donnie when he played in the bands and he was a nice person and always talked to you when he seen you. Concert on the block he had was nice. Donnie will be missed.

To Donnys immediate family, this is a tough one. He and I grew up on Lawndale Street while growing up. We could throw a rock and hit each other's house, that's how close we lived to each other. I think his wittiness came from his mom. May he rest in peace, knowing he is in a better Pace now.
