DONALD JAMES MUNRO The family of Donald James Munro sadly announces his sudden passing on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Manitou Lodge Nursing Home in Watrous, SK., at the age of 60 years. Don was born on September 12, 1950 in Saskatoon, SK. He attended Princess Alexander and Montgomery Elementary Schools and graduated from Mount Royal Collegiate in 1968. Don worked in many electrical and plumbing sales positions starting his career with City of Saskatoon, A.A. At work, Don was always seen proudly showing pictures of his grandchildren or handing out candies which he loved so much. Don was predeceased by wife, Judith (2005); his son, Cory (1972); his Father, James (1966); Mother, Mabel (2010); Sister, Gail (1984); Sister Brenda (2009); and Brother, Rickey (2007). Don enjoyed woodworking, home renovations, working in his yard, and fishing. Don was very generous, caring and dedicated to his family, friends and work. Don's family would like to thank Dr. Dennis Bishop of Rosthern Hospital as well as the many nurses and support staff of both Rosthern Hospital and Manitou Lodge for their compassion and care during the last few months of his life. The Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of the Saskatoon Funeral Home. A private family interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery.
