We Loved Mr. Beckham. He was such a kindhearted person. I always looked for wisdom from him. He always gladly helped me. He had a wonderful family that he was very proud of and gave me many suggestions to help me in my family life. I am a better wife, mom and friend thanks to this wonderful man. May God Bless your family and I will dearly miss this extrodinary man.

Morgan,
I am sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Ray. He was a fine gentleman and excellent farmer. He and his many contributions to the Leland community and state are exemplary and are an example of how we all should comport ourselves.

I did not know Ray was that sick. My younger son Jim lost his class ring in Sardis Lake below the dam. About 10 years later someone found it in the lower lake and found it belonged to Jim who had graduated from Magnolia Heights. I was telling someone from Leland about this and she said Ray had the same experience. Lost his wedding band in an area where they were clearing the trees. Many years later The tractor driver found the ring "shining" in the dirt.
