Donald Gerard Peacock Sr.

Mr. Donald Gerard Peacock, Sr., 67, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. Born November 10, 1953 in Lackawanna, NY, he was the son of Lillian Odessa Sanders Peacock and the late Walter Lee Peacock. Mr. Peacock was a graduate of John Adams High School and Livingstone College class of 1975 receiving a Bachelor's degree in Education. He retired from Norandal Aluminum Co. He was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church, Salisbury. He was a successful business owner, dedicated son, husband, father, brother and friend. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Robin Elaine Peacock; and brother, Walter Lee Peacock, Jr. (“Teddy”). Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Donald Peacock, Jr. of Katy, TX; Nicole Peacock of the home; sisters, Sheila Peacock Douglas (Barry) of Queens, NY, Cynthia Peacock of Enfield, CT; mother, Lillian O. Peacock; grandchildren; Donald G. Peacock, III, Nicholas Aidan Peacock, Kinsley Nicole Harrington; nieces, Chance Douglas, Tea' Myatt, Sybil Myatt; nephew, Anthony Peacock; partners for life, John McCain, Thomas Owens (“Duke Daddy”), Allen Elder (“Hutch”); and a host of other relatives and friends. Arrangements: Service Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 1pm in the A.R. Kelsey Memorial Chapel, Noble and Kelsey Funeral Home, Inc. Entombment following service at Rowan Memorial Park, Salisbury.
