Donald Earl Przybylski

Przybylski, Donald Earl, age 82, died on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at a nursing home with family at his side. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Benoit Przybylski; one son, Donald; four step-children, Penny Smith, Rebecca Scott, Bill Lee and Ed Hall, who adored him. He was “Papa” to Todd, Bradley, Lydia, Sterling, Spencer, Lila, Adam, Stephen, Cathryn, William, Chris, Zachary, Chancey, Owen, Jenna, and three great-grandchildren. He is sorely missed by his “best friends”, his dogs, Cocoa, Solimae, and Millie. Don was born on June 22, 1931 in Roseville, Mich. He was self-employed and finally retired at age 79. He was the “original” nerd before nerds were cool. He loved chemistry and beer. (not necessarily in that order). His body was donated to Wayne State University because of his love of science. He was especially happy when surrounded by friends and family. He was a Golden Eagle at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Roseville, Mich. We love you Papa, you were not just a “step-father” you were a “step up father” and loved us unconditionally.
