Donald Richard Roberts

Donald Richard Roberts, age 92, passed away on June 16, 2022 in Parker, Colorado. He was born in Leesburg, Florida on July 7, 1929 to J.E. Roberts and Mamie Roberts. He graduated from Leesburg High School in 1947 and the University of Florida in 1951. After college, he joined the Air Force where he served as an officer during the Korean War.

After his discharge from the Air Force, Don went to work for Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas where he met his first wife, Blanca and started a family. In 1961, he moved his family to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he worked in various business capacities at Lockheed, Teledyne and United Technologies.

In 1974, Don met his second wife, Nadine, and they were married in 1975. In 2014, the two of them moved to Colorado. His interests included private flying and travel.

Don was preceded in death by his son Wayne Roberts, his parents, and four siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Nadine Roberts, his sons, Marvin Roberts (Leah) of Loveland, Colorado and Gerald Roberts (Laurie) of South Lake Tahoe, California; stepson Doug Fults (Lora) of Durango, Colorado, stepdaughter Michele Gravel (Martin) of Parker, Colorado; five grandchildren, four step grandchildren and one step great-grandson.

Interment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
