To the Vought Family

I was sad to hear of Donny's passing. I did not know him as well as I know Chris. May you remember all the fun times you had with him. The Whole Vought Family is in my prayers.

Chris, I think of you so often and wonder how you are doing. I hope you are well.

5 Mile Quarry, Chain of Lakes and fishing in Saxeville. Not bad ways to spend the summer. Yup, all good. My condolences to Donny's entire family.

Way back in Washington grade school I would always hide from Don. I was hopelessly in love with his sister Judy and Don told me he would beat me up if I went near her. I did anyway and he didn`t really care. I saw Don years later many times on Lake Poygan. He loved the outdoors and knew how to have fun doing it.

I'm an ex of a niece of Donny's. He and I never had much in common, but he saw that I treated his niece well, and that was good enough for him. He was always kind and generous to me. Rest in peace, and condolences to his family, who will surely miss him.

When Donny was about 6 years old and I about 4.5 years old, we skipped out of Sunday School and went to the big church balcony at 1st Presbyterian in Neenah. A very charming older woman (at least at that time I thought older) looked down at us and said "Oh, how cute! Are you twins?" Without missing a beat Donny looked at me then back at her and back at me and said "Her? I don't even know her." I cried. He giggled. Neither one of us ever needed a" weatherman to know which way the wind blows."
Donny is gone now. I will lock eyes with him forever, knowing the certain and uncertain history we shared. I loved my big brother.
