Elaine & Family,
Don & I met in 1952 as squad mates in Regina and became a close friend then and over the ensuing years. Elaine, you & Kathy met later and closer friends I cannot name. The four of us have travelled to-gether and it was always the best of times. He was a work mate with me in the Force in many capacities and his professional approach to his work was second to none. When we get back East this year it wont be the same without Don. Our hearts are with you Elaine and your family. Our deepest sympathy,

Kathy & Bob Comox BC

Dear Elaine and family. Our memories of the early 60"s include many happy times, visiting door to door and setting up our homes in Aylmer while the children were growing up. It is hard to believe so many years have gone by, as we are all approaching this time in life. Don was a very professional member of the Force, who took great pride in his work. He will be missed by all.

Very sorry to hear of Don's passing. Sad indeed, but brings back many happy memories of life in the early 60's - coffee in the arboretum, riding escorts and many good friends, some mentioned in this guestbook. Thanks Don, I'm sure you will be missed by many.

Elaine,
Gerry and I were so sorry to learn of Don's passing. We shall always treasure the memories of the "old days" back in Aylmer when we were all starting out in RCMP life. You both added so much enjoyment to every group you joined. Those were good times... Don will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Elaine and family,
We were so saddened to hear about Don. I will always remember him with a smile on his face and a happy heart.
Don always helped everyone and I was so thankful to both of you this summer for lending Gramma the wheelchair so I could take her to Atlantic City and New York City. Don made sure he had a peak at my GPS to see which way we were travelling. To ensure we would be really 'safe' he made sure I also had written instructions. Thankfully I did as my GPS broke along the way!
As a young girl I looked forward to your visits as well, both in B.C. and here in Ottawa. I still have the picture of Don with Prince Charles and Princess Diana on their boat travelling down the canal. We all screamed, "Don" and he looked and pointed over to us and then so did Princess Diana... what a memory!
Don will truly be missed by everyone.
Big hugs to you all,
Cheryl-Ann, Frank, Ashley and Samantha
