Donna Lee Barkley (Taylor) born July 10, 1964 Binghamton NY passed away on July 20, 2025 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother Cheryl Camp and Father In Law Vernon R Barkley.

She is survived by her husband Barry Barkley, her sons Major Dominick Kominos US Army (Fiancé Brielle Burr) and Chris Eaton, Stepson Samuel Barkley, her beloved niece Shelby Miller, her brother Bill Taylor, best friend Katherine Chapman and Goddaughter Jess Dillon, Mother and Father In Law Louetta and John Miller, Brothers In Law Kevin and Kyle Barkley and many nieces, nephews, stepchildren and grandchildren. Also to mention also all those she brought into her home and helped shape their lives.

Donna was always a shining light in the darkness and brought out the best in all those around her. Her sense of humor and quirky personality made everyone feel at ease and at home. We always used to say, "Donna catches everything thrown at her", a skill she learned spending countless hours playing catch with her son Dom. When she smiled at you, you knew you were with someone truly special. Later in life Donna acquired 2 dogs and spent countless hours playing with and walking the dogs, in return the dogs were her daily protectors and provided her with love and entertainment. Donna was never defined by job or educational status rather she spread hope and joy to everyone around her. She will be truly missed by all who met and took the time to know her and she will never forgotten.

Donna has touched so many lives in such a positive way! I had the honor of getting to know Donna and Barry just a couple of years ago! Donna always ware a smile and loved going places! I was able to get just a few pictures of when Barry took Donna to the Zoo! Donna absolutely loved all the animals and enjoyed the outing!!

Donna thank you for being a bright light in my world and showing me how to be such a kind a caring person! Through you I become a better person!! You will be dearly missed!!

This was the last time I seen Donna, at my Halloween party years ago . We met as neighbors over 20yrs ago and quickly became friends, I'm sorry that life got in the way and we didn't stay closer. She was beautiful inside and out and I was one of the lucky ones to have known her. I send all my love to her husband and family

I worked with Donna for a few years at Vail-Ballou. She was always very helpful and kind. I was shocked to learn of her passing. We used to eat lunch together and I would tease her about being a vegetarian. I was told that during her interview, she was asked if she did any baking===we always had food at work. Her response was "No, but I do know my way around the bakery at Wegman's". That always made me laugh. I haven't seen Donna for a long time, but I will miss not having her in our world.

I was so saddened to hear of Donna´s passing. She was indeed a shining light and an inspiration to anyone that knew her. I had the honor of working alongside Donna for several years. She was always willing to help anyone who needed anything. I will remember her fondly. My sincere condolences to her family.
