Mrs. Donna Renee Bowling, age 51 of McDonough, Georgia passed away September 12, 2017. She was born in East Point, Georgia to Minnie Lou Johnson and the late Archie Lavonne Ledbetter. She was preceded in death by siblings, Steven Lavonne Ledbetter, Stanley Lee Ledbetter, Philip Anthony Ledbetter and Julie Smith. Renee graduated from Jasper County High School, Class of 1982. She worked several years for Honda in Ohio and attended Open Bible Baptist Church in Hampton. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, music, singing and time on her computer. Survivors include her mother and step father, Minnie and Al Sorenson of Conyers; siblings, Davina (James) Jamerson of Locust Grove, D.J. Johnson of Bella Vista, AR, Marcus Johnson of Hampton, JoAnne Ross of Phenix City, AL, Douglas Sorenson of Monticello, Kyla Cline of Bayonne, NJ and Karen Joyce of Garden City ID; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 17, 2017 – 2:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor J.R. Pilcher will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisten Funeral Home of McDonough.

Renee was my best friend growing up in Rolling Green subdivision in Conyers. I have fond memories of going to Heritage High School with her. I am deeply saddened for her family's loss.
