I met Donna through working at Live Oak Grill. She gave me my first job at just 16 years old. She taught me patience, organization, people skills, and most importantly the most important questions to ask someone when they´re ordering at her food counter, "Would you like your gravy on top or on the side?" or "Lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and mustard are okay on your burger?" And yes, you had to say it in that exact order. Her giving me a chance to work for her forever changed and shaped my life. I am forever grateful for her and she will be deeply missed by many!

I met Donna through my daughter, Glenn Taggart, who lived in Sugar Land for many years. We dined and visited Live Oaks and Donna on our various trips to visit my daughter. Donna was a very special person. I liked her immensely and was very heartsick to hear about her passing.

Susan I will miss her smile and that wonderful laugh and the thousands of hours on the phone sharing and laughing. Best friend in the whole wide world. May her journey continue . . . . .
