Rufus McKoy

Rufus McKoy TRENTON - Rufus McKoy age 83 passed away Feb. 26, 2014 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center. Born in Raeford, NC and lived in Trenton for 63 years. He was educated at Lilly's Chapel in Raeford, NC and Raeford High School in NC. Mr. McKoy was a retired Press Operator for Congoleum Tile with 50 years of service. He enjoyed playing softball, pool, and singing. Son of the late Luther McKoy and Everlina Marsh-McKoy, brother of the late John and Daniel McKoy. Mr. McKoy is survived by his wife Anna T. McKoy, two sons Rufus Jr. and Gregory (Ethel), two daughter Theresa and Patricia, two sisters Ada York and Lena May Belton, two brothers James (Linda), and Willie McKoy, three granddaughters, four grandsons, eight great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, and friends. Funeral service will be 1pm Thurs March 6, 2014 at Galilee Baptist Church 440 Martin Luther King Blvd. Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 11am until time of service at the church. Interment Ewing Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
