Donna Hartsock Obituary
She was a member of Eastern Star for over 60 years and served as Worthy Matron. She was the President of the Ostrander Senior Citizens and Co-chair of the 1stOstrander Spring Carnival. She delivered for Meals on Wheels with Milo by her side and was a Girl Scout leader.
A woman of many talents she sewed costumes, suits and dresses for friends and family. She decorated cakes and the meeting halls for her organizations, arranged flowers, ran a catering business, reupholstered furniture and created Swedish weaving works.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Vicki (Craig) Ison of Ostrander, Vivian (Gene) Curry of Radnor and Valeri (Tom) Bryant of Bellefontaine; 2 sons, Don (Pam Beery) of Delaware and Max (Marilyn) of Ashley; 11 grandchildren; Eric, Staci, Jeremy, Jacob, Luke, Lindsey, Aubrey, Miles, Nick, William and Leah and 20 great-grandchildren. Besides Milo, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Sally Jacobs and granddaughter, Erin (Hartsock) Weberg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Bible Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.In keeping with her giving spirit Donna donated her body to OSU.
Visitation will commence at 1:00pm on Sunday November 6, 2022 followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00pm at Scioto Township Hall, 3737 Ostrander Rd, Ostrander. Family and friends are invited to come and share fond memories and stories.

Donna was my cousin. I only saw her at family get together every August 1. I didn't get to her 90 birthday party because of my health. I was on line today looking for Vivian's phone number to ask about Donna. I'm sorry it took me so long. Donna was always sweet and kind to me. I won't forget her. Donna was one special lady. David, my husband was blessed to work with her for several years. What a work ethic she had. He truly loved her as a mom figure too. What a wonderful mom she was. I was blessed to know her, Milo the love of her life and all the kids. David and I send our condolences to all of you kids!

I have very fond memories of spending time with Valeri when we were young, swimming in the pool at the house, etc. Your mother always made those sleep overs special for us when we were kids.
