Mrs. Leonhardt, 71, passed away at her home on Sunday, May 4, 2008. She was born in Eau Claire County on Sept. 15, 1936 to the late John and Gena (nee: Hanson) Johnson and lived most of her life in Racine. She was united in marriage to Donald Leonhardt in November of 1969. She was employed at the Tottle Inn Restaurant for many years. She was a member of Lutheran Chapel of the Cross. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandson. She enjoyed vacationing with her family. She is survived by her husband, Don Leonhardt, children, Robin, Julius, Brian (Margaretta) Leonhardt, and Tracy Garcia; seven grandchildren, Cory, Danny, Billy, Holly, Sirena, Dillon, and Donna; one great-grandson, Justin; two brothers, Bert (Fern), Donald Johnson; two sisters, Gladys Hart, Helen (Ken) Flones; brother-in-law, Marvin Leonhardt, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Arnold, Stanley and Joseph, two sisters; Bernice Halvorson and Diane Johnson. Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home 1212 Lathrop Ave., on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Daniel R. Feldscher officiating. Interment will be private for the family on Monday morning at West Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Leonhardt to Lutheran Chapel of the Cross have been suggested. A special thank you to the nurses and staff on 2C at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare/All Saints.
