Donna Lopez Obituary
Donna Gaye Lopez passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, September 9, 2025, in her hometown of Oregon, Ohio, at the age of 75. Donna was born on November 28, 1949, in Webster County, West Virginia, to Willie Hamrick and Cleo Fox. She was a proud bus driver for the Oregon School District for a number of years.
Donna had a multitude of hobbies including rooting for her favorite sports teams, most of the Michigan Wolverines (Go Blue!). In her youth, Donna was a spectacular softball player. As she entered adulthood, her competitive nature led her to be an avid dart player; she once even won a State-wide tournament. Most of all, Donna enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and close friends. She was a dedicated participant of "Tuesday Boozeday" and active in her community at the VFW Post. She will be remembered for her fiery hair, spirit, and love.
Donna is survived by her Grandchildren: Courtney, Kamron, and Alexis; as well as her daughter and son-in-law: Tina and Doug. Preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Judy and Connie, and brothers: Rockie and Bud.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at VFW Post 9816 Lake Shore Memorial (1802 Ashcroft Dr, Oregon, OH 43616) on Saturday, October 4, at 1:00 PM.
