I'm so sorry to hear this. I remember David and Donna living in Marin area San Fran. Back in 1984 David was playing baseball and the rookie coach gave him TWO at BATS in one tight game and strike out twice. lololo Funny thing 3 DAYS later he called the Rookie coach and asked for a THIRD at BAT. He was CUT from THE TEAM....... fun times

I knew Donna since 9th grade. We would connect occasionally through the years and when we got older we would spend most of the time talking about our kids. Her love and adoration of her children was wonderful to listen to. I am so sad that she was taken from them now, way too soon.
I found some pictures from a 1979 backpacking trip in Harriman State Park. A nice memory.
I am so sorry for your loss.

I met Donna at The Studio years ago and loved her collection and guidance and followed her to her store in Chestnut hill . I introduced her to my daughter who also wears many items from the store.. I was sorry when it closed. Donna was a force. I admired her so much. Such strength and grit and great sense of humor. May her memory be a blessing.

I am a frequent customer and my husband always gets me a gift card every Christmas. Donna was such a warm, humorous, inviting soul. I am devastated to hear this new. Sending prayers to her family.

I was a customer at Donna's store when I brought my mom, who has dementia, in for a fitting. Donna took such great care of her and was so kind and understanding of my mom limitations. Later when I went to pick up a special order, Donna shared her own experience of loving someone with dementia and shared resources that she had found helpful. Sending love to Donna's friends and family, especially her children. Your mom was special lady.

I met Donna from going into her shop in Hanover. She was a shrewd business woman, filling a void on the south shore by starting a bra shop that had stylish and functional bras for every day and special occasions. The women working there were trained well in taking proper measurements. She hired lovely employees like Beata and Janet who were so helpful and kind with their clients, getting to know them and their tastes and needs. My Mom passed away 10 yrs ago from pancreatic cancer and I so hoped for a better outcome for Donna. While I didn't know her very well, I saw her in the shop a few times after her diagnosis and she showed the same grace and grit in the face of a very grim disease. Condolences to her family, her friends and her employees, Beata and Janet, for this huge loss. Fondly, Andrea
