Donna F. Pelletier

Donna F. Pelletier, 72, of Southington, went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2021, after fighting a long illness. She was the loving wife of Brian A. Pelletier, whom she was married to for 39 years.

Donna was born on July 27, 1948 in East Port, Maine. Donna was a loving mother and a proud grandmother. She loved caring for her family, cooking for them, and baking bread and pies. She always seemed to be happy and had a sweet smile for those fortunate enough to be around her. Donna was a devout Christian and her faith was very important to her. She will be greatly missed by the Central Baptist Church in Southington.

In addition to her husband Brian, she is survived by her children Tammy Clapper of PA, Sheila Valerio and her husband Anthony of Southington, and Brian Salerno of NM; her grandchildren Danielle, Chelsey, Andrea, Amanda, and Ashley; her brothers Peter Goodwin and his wife Karen of Southington, and Calvin Goodwin and his wife Donna of Prospect; her sister Ellen Niles and her husband Skip of Southington; as well as many nieces & nephews. Donna is predeceased by her parents Lavina (Lank) and Carl Goodwin, her biological father Donald Thompson, and her grandson Kyle Valerio.

Donna's family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the staff at Livewell in Plantsville for their compassionate and exemplary care of her.

Calling hours will be from 9am-11am on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021 at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N Main St., Southington. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Southington.
