Two things. One is ai forgot to mention before that when Donna was moving to Ct I went with her to see the apartments that she ultimately lived in - and that is when she me Henry!!!! Also, I still have Donna´s obituary picture on my refrigerator because it´s such a pretty picture and it´s how I remember her. I can´t tell you how many times there have been occasions when I miss being able to tell her funny stories ( and even not funny stories that we could laugh at. Donna and Sue - 2 wonderful friends who I really miss.

Having first met Donna in kindergarten, I have many fond memories of our time together. We spent hours playing, riding our bikes to nowhere in particular, and chatting about any and everything. When Donna met Henry, we also came to know and love Alana. We spent many Christmas Days together and were lucky enough to watch each other´s children grow up.
I am going to miss our hours on the porch at the lake most of all.
With love,
Lucy

I'm so sorry to hear of Donna's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting her during her brief stay at the Atrium. My mom is a resident there and I'd see Donna often when I visited. Reading her obituary helped me put the pieces together of who she was before her diagnosis. I remember the first day I met her. I was sitting with my mom and playing some music, Donna came bouncing over with a big smile to introduce herself. She began to dance, grabbed my hands, and asked me to join in. We danced for a few minutes that day and other days when music was playing. Her energy was infectious. I smile when I think of her. May she rest in peace.

Donna will be missed by so many. She was a great friend since the 1970´s through work and we had loads of fun through the years and at work. So smart, so funny, a fashionista and great sense of humor. So happy she is no longer fighting the battle.
