Donna Trentini Obituary

Donna May Trentini (Lancaster), 81, of Litchfield NH, previously of Danvers MA, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on March 5, 2024 with her family by her side.

Born in Portland ME, Donna was raised and educated in Peabody MA. She went on to the Chandler School for Woman in Boston. Upon graduating she was employed at Sylvania Electric Products of Salem, MA where she met her husband.

Donna was a dedicated homemaker who found joy in creating a warm and loving home for her family. She especially loved decorating for the holidays for all to enjoy. Her passion for quilting which was evident in the beautiful quilts she lovingly crafted for family and friends. She generously shared her creative talents by teaching ceramics in her home for many years. Collecting coins and stamps from around the world were one of her many hobbies.

She is survived by her beloved husband Ronald of 59 years, her children Ron and wife Margot, Melissa Gouthro, Kimberly Shapiro and husband Jason, Heather Gagne and husband Kevin, 10 cherished grandchildren: Luca, Julia, John, Jennifer, Alexandra, Makenzie, Kevin Jr, Sydney, Emmerson, and Ava as well as her sister Brenda Miller, and several nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Bertha Lancaster, as well as her brother Lawrence Lancaster Jr. and son-in-law Marc Gouthro.

Donna's kind spirit and creative talents will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at the First Congregational Church, located at 508 Union Street, Manchester, NH on Monday March 11th at 11:00 am. Family and Friends are welcome.

Melissa and family, I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I will always remember late night talks with your mom during sleepovers and then next day breakfast talks.
