Although you were my step-dad we were so much alike that you said I could be your daughter and you treated me like I was.

We had many good times and not so good times, but you were always there to love me.

During a revival at McDonald Baptist Church we accepted Christ as our Saviour and was baptized as a family. This was a wonderful time in our life.

You were so proud to walk me down the aisle at my wedding and was just as nervous as I was. You were a proud grandpa when Kyle was born.

You were so tenderhearted towards me. You cried when I cried and you laughed when I laughed. You were ALWAYS the one you caved in when I was punished, so I never did the time. You hated for me to be upset with you.

I never forgot you and I never will.

They said it wouldn't last six months, but with laughter and tears we made it through eleven years of marriage.

You accepted Christ as your Saviour in 1986 and for a short time you found the peace you sought.

My love will be with you during your next journey.
