Donovan COREMAN Obituary
June 1, 1929 - August 5, 2015
Donovan Joseph (Don) aged 86 years, beloved husband of Dora of Stavely, passed away on August 5, 2015 at the Claresholm General Hospital. He is also survived by a son Dale; 3 daughters Darlene, Doreen (Bill) and Diane; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a brother Neil Coreman and a sister Elizabeth Foster. Don was predeceased by his parents; a son Duane in 1964; a great-grandchild Madison in 2009; his sister Leila and his brother Ray. A Memorial Service will be held at the Stavely Community Hall on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Calgary at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if desired, a donation in Donovan's memory may be made directly to The Stavely Royal Purple (Stavely, Alberta T0L 1Z0). Arrangements and cremation entrusted to LEYDEN'S FUNERAL HOME, Claresholm. Tel: 403-625-3212.

Don taught me some great things. He never failed to spend one on one time with me. I thought he was Mr Magic when he put a chicken to sleep and Superman when he gave me a chicken to hold. And wow! He gave me the biggest turkey I have ever seen for my wedding! It was so big I had to have a butcher quarter it so I could fit it in my oven! Whenever I stopped in for a visit, even if he was in the middle of being crazy busy, he would take time for me and made me feel important. I will miss him and look forward to seeing him again on the other side of the veil.
