Dora was a wonderful person, I met her when she would attend Historic St. Paul AME Church. She always had something nice to say and always made me laugh. We kept in touch after she left Lexington, we would have long phone calls. She had told me she was fighting cancer, during our last conversation, even then we would always be laughing. My heart is broken. So glad our paths crossed. Absent from the body, but present with the Lord. Rest my sister-friend. Love you Dora!

Dora could and would accurately quote a Bible verse at any given moment. We often disagreed on the interpretation, but, it was always enlightening! And always about the word, not personalities. REST WITH LOVE, DORA
