Doreen CHORNEY Obituary
On July 22, 2013, Mrs. Doreen Chorney of Willingdon, AB, passed away at the age of 72 years.
Doreen will be sadly missed by her loving family; one daughter and two sons, Darlene Yurko of Vegreville, Dale Chorney of Willingdon and Wesley (Sharmen) Chorney
of Vegreville; four grandchildren, Devon Yurko, Dylan Yurko, Lachelle Chorney and Logan Chorney; three brothers, Andy Homeniuk, Dave Homeniuk and Orest (Jeanette) Homeniuk and one sister, Bernice Bilyk. Predeceased by husband, George; parents, Peter and Mary Homeniuk and sister, Evelyn Kucher.
The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage House, Dr. Daniel Edgecumbe and the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Funeral Service Friday, July 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 4814 - 50 Street, Vegreville, AB. Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie officiating with Interment in St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Church Cemetery, Luzan, AB. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to St. Joseph's General Hospital, 5241 - 43 Street, Vegreville, AB T9C 1R5 or to the charity of one's choice.
