To Chuck, Coll and Mark, who have always been more than a family to me. The death of both my dad and now Auntie Dore, in just two weeks, has been more than devastating to the whole family. Auntie Dore has always been a “second mom” to me, and I’m left with wonderful memories of her, but with much sadness, as well. Mom is in disbelief, as I know you are too, Chuck. You have both not only lost your best friends, but your loving partners as well, and in such a short time. The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear, and we share the depths of your grief. I am proud to say, that I have Auntie Dore’s old 16 gauge shotgun, hanging in our log house, and it brings back lots of good ole memories of the Euchiniko days. I’m glad I had the opportunity to see Auntie Dore again, and kiss her goodbye, one last time. I know your hearts are filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together, as our hearts are as well. And, I know Auntie Dore had more than a wonderful life, with many life-long friends. May these wonderful memories, always bring you comfort.

Uncle Chuck, Col, Mark and families.
If tears could build a stairway, and memories were a lane. We would walk all the way to heaven, to bring you home again. Aunty Dore, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knows the reason why. He saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered, come to me. With tearful eyes we watched you, as we saw you pass away. Although we loved you deeply, we could not make you stay. Our hearts ache in sadness, and secret tears will flow. What it's meant to me to lose you, no one will ever know.
I will always miss you Aunty Dore,
Lynda--or as you always
called me, Lyn.

Mark, our condolences to you, your dad and your family. Your mom was always so gracious and generous with all of us. Even when it seemed like we were invading her home, year after year. During some difficult times, I always appreciated the hospitality of your family. What a wonderful story of her life. Take care.
