While I knew that Doreen was battling cancer, I really believed she would conquer it. Her spirit was strong. I knew that from the first time I met her in Hawaii in 1975. I can hardly believe that she has passed. I will always cherish the memory of her. My condolences to her family and those closest to her. God Bless....

I was schocked and saddened by Doreens passing. I enjoyed our cheerleading time at high school. She cared deeply, loved many, taught well and enjoyed life richly. We all carry memories that we will cherish always. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

I will always remember our trip to Hawaii in 1975. Doreen and I fell in love with this beautiful paradise. We both found it to be our special home away from home. You will always be remembered for your great smile, your laughter and your unconditional friendship. Mahalo and Aloha!!!

Doreen had a special heart and a singularly positive outlook on life. Doreen, I think you lived in a better world in your heart and in your life with Kaz and Brandon, a world that passed with your passing. I know your heart remains in our memories and lives on in thriving exuberance.

Can you imagine our surprise to run into each other after so many high school years ago at our own son's (both named Brandon) high school graduation? Oh...the laughter we shared that special day will always stay a great memory. My deepest condolences to all her family and friends - Doreen was a lovely person who will be sorely missed.

Doreen was the most kind; loving and caring friend. She was one of my best friends and I loved her dearly. She was always their for everyone in good times and bad times. Her strength and courage over the last few months of her life was amazing and inspirational. She was truly a special person and a wonderful friend. I will miss her friendly voice and words of encouragement. My thoughts and prayers got to her husband Kaz, her son Brandon and all the other members of her family. I will miss you very much Doreen. You will always be in my heart forever! Thank you for honouring me by being my friend.
Love you Doreen!

I am so sorry to hear of Doreen's passing. I remember Doreen best as my fellow "point" of the "V" when we were cheerleaders and classmates at Van Tech. She was a happy, bubbly and vivacious girl and even though we didn't stay connected as adults, I am saddened by her death. My thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.

Doreen graced us with her gentle, warm, kind heart of gold. She gave us so much more than we gave her. We're blessed she was in our lives. We will treasure her forever and miss her always. Patsy,Graham,Jamie,Ali,Mia,Dave

My deepest sympathies to Kaz, Brandon and all her friends and relatives. She was a very special friend to me since we met when we were only five years old. No matter how long or what distance kept us apart we were always able to pick up exactly where we left off. Her fabulous smile and laughter will remain within my heart always. Love you Doe!
