Bonnie, Your mom was the most outgoing, cheerful woman I think I ever met. Everyone who met her was then her friend. She welcomed everyone into her heart. You, Bonnie, have the same gift of heart. Your mom has been remembered by me throughout the years. I see her still, sitting in the living room in Kenilworth, talking and laughing and enjoying life. She was a true blessing to all who knew her. I hope this day brings you joy of heart, not the sadness of her passing. Love you. Janie

We will always remember Doris for her cheery personality. She would always give us laughs and was such a delight to be with. She could see the humor in anything and share it with us. She taught us many things, arts and crafts were only some of the things. She made a beautiful white shawl for me and it was wrapped around our Great Grandson for his christening. We told his Mom and Dad who had made it. We will miss her phone calls. We loved her very much.

Bonnie and Joe, The boys and I are so sorry to hear about miss Wink. From the second we met her she made us feel like family at a time when we really needed it. She always made sure we knew we were loved. I look up at the picture she painted every night and thank god for sending us a friend in Wink. This will be hard to get over. I know i will see her in my dreams and cant wait to see her smile. We love you.

Both Kathy and I are saddened by your loss of Mom. We only met her briefly when we came through WeWa, In fact she gave us HER bed. Now she is resting with the Angels. May God Bless her and all her family. We will be making a donation in the near future in her honor. Also, we are so glad to have the pictures she made for us. Will cherrish them forever. May you rest in peace, Dear Heart. You have truly earned it. We will always remember your understanding and helpfulness when we needed you most. You taught us many things, not only in crafts and paintings, but to have a sense of humor to carry us through the dark times. God Bless you and yours.

Dear Bonnie
50 years since we both first wrote to each other and 40 years since I first met your Mom, Doris.

Doris always respresented to me the very best of motherhood, showing by example how to give of oneself to one's own family and to society to help make life better through those connections, her home was open to all the young people of the neighbourhood as a place to relax and discuss anything that troubled them.

Memory of your Mom will live on through the lives of all those her kindness touched.

With all my love

Dear Bonnie & Family,
We are so blessed that we had the honor of knowing Wink. She was such a beautiful person. Her artwork was amazing and Jada had such a great time painting with her. The bonnet she made for little Damien will be cherished forever as will the painting she made for us. My mother only met her once but seemed to instantly connect with her as they both shared the love of painting. We are so sorry she had to leave all of us. She will be truly missed. God bless you and your family during this difficult time, we love you.

Bonnie and family,
Just wanted you to know that "Ma" will never be forgotten.
I am so very grateful and proud to have known her and shared a small piece of her amazing life...what love and warmth she has!!
I am the proud owner of an original Banfield painting, and it has hung in Zach's room and now in Aubrie's. It will always have a place in my home. Her Christmas balls that she made, even after all these years, they are some of my prized ornaments for our tree, she will never be forgotten.
Ma left an amazing family, all of you are a testament to her.

With love,
Heather
