Doris Bettis Obituary
Doris' sons Rory Alton Gentry and Brian David Gentry were at her side when she passed as was her best friend,
Terri Griggs. Doris is also survived by her sister Joann Gripon as well as 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchilden, 10 step-
grandchildren as well as numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9-10:00am on Saturday, May 12, at Mount Moriah Terrace Park, located at 169 Hiway at 108th St.
in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am at the same location. Burial will be at Mount Moriah South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and live plants, the family has requested donations be made in Doris' name to THE MISSION FUND, INC. 11550 STRICKLAND ROAD, ROSWELL, GA 30076

I worked with Doris for quite some time. She was always someone I could talk to and, although we did not stay in close touch after retirement I thought of her often.

I remember Doris as a sweet and gentle lady. She will be greatly missed by many people.

Doris was my aunt by marriage. I haven't seen her in several years, but I remember her as a genuinely nice person. Nothing fake. The times I was around her, she maintained a kind of calm counterpoint to the Bettis love for enthusiastic conversation.
