Doris Evelyn Bird, 83, of Hackettstown, New Jersey, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2009, in Sebring, Florida. Born: She was born May 27, 1927 to Frederick and Grace Olive Gunn Lantz in Newton, New Jersey. Personal: She had been a lifelong resident of Hackettstown. She was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors: Mrs. Bird is survived by her daughter, Beverly and husband Victor Bondonna of Sebring; son, Leslie Walker, Jr., of Easton; brother, Robert Lantz, of Ocean City, MD; sisters, Alice Layton of Bethlehem, and Patsy Popson of Hackettstown; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
