Doris Blevins Obituary
Doris is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Blevins Jones and Kelly Henson and her husband Jim, of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Nathan Jones, Lacey Henson, and Alyssa Henson; two sisters, Leola Carroll of Florence, KY and Ruth Henderson and her husband Ernest of Glendale, AZ; two brothers, Burt Jarvis and his wife LaVern of Rio Hondo, TX and Glen Jarvis of Mansfield, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Jarvis; four brothers, Kenneth, Harold, Bill, and Raymond Jarvis; and two sisters, Evelyn Tabor and Maxine Kash.
Per Doris' wishes, cremation was chosen with private services for her immediate family to be held at a later date. Roselawn Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net

Dear Kelly and Kim and families....We were both so sorry about the loss of your mom. Time has marched on and losses are inevitable. God had a plan when He made man and woman. It was to be born .....grow.....learn from life's lessons....then make the ONE decision that tells our story...do we choose to love and serve God....or do we not! We sooooo remember the times we all had the opportunities to share with all of you and we hold it close to our hearts with love and fondness....and forever will! Doris loved you girls deeply....she was proud of you as well as the rest of her family! Now her eternal rest time has come..... and God knows the plan! He always has....He always will! She will be missed and there will be a void left behind. But the remaining question is....what decisions about life will you make? Will the answer be YES Lord or no....I have my own agenda. Doris would want no other answer than YES. It is the legacy that most parents desire for their children and families because it gives unconditional love, overwhelming joy and happiness and eternal peace! Rest in PEACE, dear Doris....and may you be dancing, laughing and singing with the angels for all eternity! We love you, Kim and Kelly....and you will forever be a part of our hearts! Rejoice, enjoy and honor your lives with wisdom, comfort and God given knowledge.....one day at a time, one moment at a time...one problem at a time.....then hand the rest off to God....then let Him drive you thru your life's journey!
