Doris M. (Henry) Fosnaugh, 90, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Fort Wayne on October 30, 1922 and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1940. During the war Doris worked for GE. After raising her six children she worked for Walker Research and volunteered with the SPCA and Humane Shelters. Her love for animals were great. Survivors include her children John (Sharon) Fosnaugh, Karen (Tim) Hake, Susan (Eric) Heffley, Kevin (Pam) Fosnaugh all of Fort Wayne; and Cheryl (Ken) Uffelman of Herndon, VA; and Greg (Darby) Fosnaugh of Cleveland, OH; 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brothers Norman and John "Jack" Henry both of Fort Wayne. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth L. Fosnaugh in 2002, sister Helene Briggs, brother Joseph, and parents Joseph A. and Lillian E. (Degitz) Henry. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd with calling 1hr prior. Calling also at D. O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 2-5pm & 7-9pm with a Rosary at 4:30 pm. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery.
