Doris M. Shutske

DORIS M. SHUTSKE "Mary" Kouts, Indiana Age 81, passed away Friday, January 20, 2006, at the Catherine Kasper Home in Donaldson, IN. A Kouts resident since 1946, she was born January 22, 1924, in Gary, IN, to William and Genevieve (Scheiss) Siddall. Mary graduated from Valparai-so High School in 1943 and married Gerald Shutske on April 26, 1947, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Valparaiso, IN. He preceded her in death in 1988. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kouts and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Survivors include four children, Larry (Tina) Shutske of Bremen, Linda (John) McNeil of Plymouth, Jeff (Jane) Shutske and Brian (Tammy) Shutske, both of Kouts; 1 sister, Therese Wirtz of Merrillville; 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchil-dren. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, Charles, Laurence and David Siddall, and one sister, Frances Siddall. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kouts, The Rev. Thomas Tibbs officiating, with burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
