Doris L. Walker

WALKER - Doris L., age 75, of Butternut Street, Middletown, Conn., died Aug. 28, 2004. She was the widow of Egbert R. Walker. Mrs. Walker was born July 9, 1929, in Camden, N.J., a daughter of the late Ernest and Mozelle Ewing. She is survived by daughters, Michelle L. and Jacqueline D. Walker, Paula L. Reed, Natasha Smith and Chimene M. Taylor, sons, James S., Allan R. and Charles L. Walker, a brother, Ernest Ewing Jr., 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 3, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 346 Butternut St., Middletown, Conn. Friends may call at the church from 10-11 a.m. Burial in Indian Hill Cemetery, Middletown, Conn. CURVIN K. COUNCIL FUNERAL HOME, 128 Dwight St., New Haven, Conn., is in charge of arrangements.
