I was sorry to read of Dorothy's passing in the Toronto Star recently. My parents, Elsie and Donald Tait, were friends with your parents in London. They were also members of the Thistle Lawn Bowling Club and Metropolitan United Church. When my father died in 1991, Dorothy and Frank invited Mom and me for afternoon tea; it was a delightful visit. My mother moved to a retirement home in Pickering 3 years ago due to ill health and to be closer to me; she passed away in January this year. It is very difficult to lose your mother, regardless of how long she lived. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry to hear of Dorthy's passing.I had the privilege of knowing her when I lived at Amica at Swan Lake and we played bridge together. We used to laugh a lot. We kept in touch after I moved. She was a very fine person and will be greatly missed. Please accept my sincere sympathy.

Hello Peter,
I was sad to hear about your mothers death. She was a good friend of my Mom and Dad., Jack and Dody Denne. She was always interested in how they were doing as their health declined.
As you might know..Ric Mcmahon was my dad's best friend and it was a connection that they had with your Mom and Dad. I used to visit with her in her room and enjoyed her storiies of Ric and My Aunt Marney's visits I always loved to see the clock in her room. I think it was something you made.
What a good long life she had. Always a smile. She loved seeing our grandchildren Jjaden and Jaxon when they visited.
My sympathy is with you and your family.
