Aunt Dorothy,

That is what I remember calling you as I grew up in East Boston with Larry and the rest of the gang on Princeton Street. You were always so cool. I have nothing but fond memories of you and your Princeton Street family. You will be dearly missed. You and your family are in my prayers.

To My Cousins,
I was just told by my mother who was told by Auntie Esther of the passing of your Mom. I cant believe I am just finding out. I am soooo sorry for your loss. I just saw her a couple of months ago and we vowed to keep in touch, but of course life got busy and we did not. But I just loved my Auntie Dotty, she was such an incredible woman and loved her family so much. The only peace and comfort you can have from this is that her life was centered around her family and she will leave that legacy. Your wonderful memories will always be with you, as will her spirit. She is now with your loving Dad.... and

Sandra, Mark, David and Steven:

I just learned of the death of your mother and wanted to send my condolences. You may not remember me but I was married to your father's cousin, Frank DiMeo, and I remember your mother with fondness. I have only good memories of both your mother and father going back to when we were young and just married and raising families. I remember especially the family reunion at my house and the laughs we all shared. I am sorry we lost touch after we lost our husbands but I felt compelled to send this note of sympathy. I am very sorry for your enormous loss.

Sandra: I am so sorry for you and for your family. Reading through the entries here its easy to see that your Mom was a rock AND a soft place to land. She was the smiling face in the crowd, and the one who always maintained the home fires. Just like my own Mom. I lost my Mother, too, and she was your mother's age when she died. It is devastating, unfair, and very very hard to understand. I am thinking of you, and am so sorry you and your family are experiencing such a deep loss. I will pray for you all. May your fondest memories of the best times with your Mom grow to be the ones you think of first.

To Sandra, Vinny, Mark & Family, David & Lima, Steven, Andrea & Christina and Aunty Lil & Uncle Bobbie, we are always here for all of you. Dotty would want us to be strong for eachother. Yes I agree this was not fair, and none of us were ready to say goodbye so soon. But thank God we have the hope of seeing all of our loved ones again in heaven.
Thank to Jesus.

To my brothers Mark,David and Steven, My sister Sandra.

Words cannot express how sorry I am for the loss of your mom. Dottie was like a second mother to me as you know. I loved her very much.
Through the years, Dottie had to endure all the situations we had put her through and still come out with a smile. She definitely had a major impact on my life for which I am forever grateful for having the opportunity to know and love her.
I will miss her dearly, she will always have a place in my heart.
God bless Dottie and your family.

Dear Sandra,

The bond between a mother and daughter is like no other. I know how close you were. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve. Hugs to Vinny....

October 22, 2009

Sandra,
The memories...so many of them! Sitting in your kitchen, parties in the basement, parades on Revere Street. Always that smiling face and open arms of your mom welcoming all of us back to Revere. She was so special to you and your brothers. She was also very special to that close knit group of friends that always came back to your front steps for a dose of you and Dottie. I will always remember her as a huge part of our lives growing up. She was a wonderful lady and the memory of her vibrant laughter and smiling face should fill your heart with so much pride. She made you who you are and we ALL love you. It's not easy losing a parent suddenly, but she is at peace now and enjoying the reunion with your dad (another wonderful person).
May the love of family and friends guide you through these difficult days.
Love,
Christine (Lepito) Molle

Grandma"D", Mama,
Did I ever tell you how much you mean to me? You were always there for me when I was young...my other mother...always loving, giving, understanding and compassionate! There for me when I gave birth, showering my babies with love and lavish gifts. How can you leave us now, when I was just beginning to figure out how to give back all the love you gave to us. I loved our adventures to Jacobs Pillow to see Caroline this summer. I'm so sorry we let time slip away. I want the happy times we shared back. We all want more! I know your looking down on us from heaven, not wanting us to hurt...but I am so hurting. I love you with all my heart. If I feel like this, I can't imagine how Sandra and Vinny will go on without you. God has taken too many of your beautiful family too soon. Please send us your strength to carry on, until we all meet again!xoxoxo

How can you be gone? We all needed you so much...You were a Tower of Strength to all of us and my 2nd Mother and Cristina's Grandmother, not just our Aunt! Who is going to be there now?? I know you are with Uncle Vinny and all of the rest of Our Beautiful Family. Please watch over them now and give them all a kiss from me and Cristina. I will miss you forever and ever and ever and ever...

Ma,
I sitting here in disbelief that I am reading your name under the obituaries of todays paper. How unfair for us that you were snapped from our lives in an instant. I am trying so hard to understand what God's plan may have been and the only thing I can think of is that Dad wanted and missed you as much as you missed him. My hope is that you and dad dance in the moonlight every night and I know you will watch over us and protect us forever. I don't know how I will survive a day without you. My heart is split in two and may never repair. I love you.....Sandra
