Dorothy Daniell Obituary
Mrs. Daniell was born May 18, 1922 in LaGrange, daughter of the late Thomas Erskin Lyle and Mary Elizabeth Wilkes Lyle. She attended First Presbyterian Church and was retired as the manager of Wood Glen Apartments. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Wallace Daniell, and a daughter, Peggy Booker.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and David Hamil of Rocky Face, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Myra Daniell of Hardeville, SC; son-in-law, Davis Booker of LaGrange; six grandchildren, Dave Booker, Lyle Booker, Russell Booker, Kimberly Smallwood, Michelle Smallwood, and Brandi Dailey; ten great grandchildren, Tinsley Booker, Thomas Neill, Taylor Duffey, Matthew Booker, Trae Booker, Ava Booker, Jayden Oxford, Kate Booker, Evan Dailey, and Kollier Oxford; and one sister, Lorraine Turner of LaGrange.
Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 23, 2010 in Shadowlawn Cemetery with Reverend Wayne Hester officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Hospice LaGrange, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, GA 30240.
