Dorothy Adaline Gaskin PRINCE GEORGE- Dorothy Adaline Gaskin, 80, of Prince George, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013. Dorothy was born on February 3, 1933 in Williamsburg County, South Carolina to the late, James and Carrie Gibbons. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry D. Gaskin, children, Dora Dean Coker and Twins, Mickey and Rickey Coker and brothers and sisters, Bannie Gibbons, Thaddous Gibbons, Roberta Gibbons Allen, Ronald Gibbons and Rhunette Gibbons Thomas. Mrs. Gaskin was a longtime member of First Christian Church in Hopewell. She is survived by her children, LaRue Hendrick and his wife, Karen, of Florence South Carolina, Earl Coker and his wife, Faye, of Alcolu, South Carolina, Deborah Harris and her husband, Jeffrey of North Prince George, Pamela Connelly and her hus-band, Sydney, of Hope-well, Virginia Ellison and her husband, David of North Prince George, Gale Stewart and her husband, Gerry of Prince George, Mary Craven and her husband, Marvin of North Prince George; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grand-children; 1 great-great grandson and numerous nephews and nieces; brothers and sisters; Roscoe Gibbons and his wife, Joyce, Robert Gibbons and his wife, Gail all of Kingstree South Carolina, Frances Haigler, of Lake City, South Carolina, Beatrice Boyd of Andrews, South Carolina, Johnnie Mae Baylor and her husband, Deams, of Bonneau, South Carolina, and Josephine Self, of Noble Oklahoma. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April, 18, 2013, also at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bobby Lane and Rev. Sylvia Tucker, officiating. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park Cemetery. Flowers are welcome and memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, 203 North 11th Ave., Hopewell, Va. 23860.
