Jesus took Dorothy June (Bisch) Glaser, age 83, Lincoln, by the hand on Friday, February 18, 2011, following a fall and subsequent Hospice care. Born to Joseph and Lena (Schmidgall) Bisch on June 22, 1927 in Brewster, MN. She married Lawrence A. Glaser on June 29, 1947 in Aberdeen, WA. Graduate, 1945, Brewster High School. Member First Lutheran Church, Lincoln. Previous Lincoln employers, Western Electric and Bankers Life Nebraska (Ameritas). Retired in 1983 to Holiday Island, AR and then Phoenix, AZ before returning to Nebraska in 1999. During her active years Dorothy enjoyed golf, travel, sewing, crocheting, reading and playing cards. Survived by Husband, Larry Glaser, Lincoln, Daughter& son-in-law Cathy and Michael Gorka of Lincoln Son & daughter-in-law Rod & Kathy Glaser of Ozark, MO Grandsons/spouses Ryan Gorka of Lincoln Scott & Jordin Gorka of Lincoln AFS daughter Sophie (Charoenratha) Ratanaya, Bangkok, Thailand Sister-in-law Myrna Bisch of Pipestone, MN, Sister & brother-in-law Barbara & Wally Kolsrud of Lakeville, MN Brother-in-law, spouses Edward & Marless Glaser of Lakefield, MN Luther & Leona Glaser of Lakefield, MN Sisters-in-law, spouses Peg Orem of Fairmont, MN Gerrie & Bill Onischuk, Bella Vista, AR Gene Saylor of St. Paul, MN Numerous nieces, nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers Robert & Donald.. Memorials in lieu of flowers to First Lutheran Church in Lincoln, or the American Cancer Society
