GLASS Dorothy Sechrest Tincher, 88, formerly of Stamping Ground went home to the Lord March 17, 2008 at the Palliative Care Center at Central Baptist Hospital. She was born November 4, 1919 in Stamping Ground and was the daughter of the late Joshua and Flavia Tackett Sechrest. Mrs. Glass was retired office manager of the Kentucky Retail Federation. She graduated Stamping Ground High School in 1938, attended Georgetown College and Fugazzi Business School. She was a former member of the Stamping Ground Baptist Church and was a member of the First Christian Church, Georgetown and an associate member of Brandon Christian Church, FL. She was also a member of the Wisteria Club and Ladies Auxiliary VFW #680. Mrs. Glass was preceded in death by Mason Glass, Sr, Lewis Conway, Jr. and J.C. Tincher and three brothers. She is survived by a son: Jim (Judy) Tincher, Lexington, step-son: Mason "Butch" (Linda) Glass, Georgetown, a step-daughter: Pam (Bill) Kelley, Elizabethtown, grand-children: Bill (Kathy) Tincher, Tonya (Fred) Cox, and step grandchildren: Jennifer (Bill) Lewis, Matthew (Wendy) Everett, Jessica (Jeff) Moore and William (Melissa) Kelley, 3 great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11am Wed at First Christian Church by Rev. Scott Cox. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery, Stamping Ground. Mrs. Glass's grandsons and Donald Lyons will serve as casket bearers. Honorary bearers will be the Deacons of the First Christian Church. Visitation will be 5-8pm Tue at Johnson's Funeral Home. Expressions of Sympathy may be made to the First Christian Church Memorial Fund or ones favorite charity. www.johnsonsfuneralhome.com

I AM SORRY TO HEAR OF MRS GLASS PASSING. I TOOK CARE OF HER YARD AND DID ODD JOBS SHE NEEDED DONE AROUND THE HOUSE UNTIL I MOVED TO AZ. SHE WAS A VERY KIND LADY WHO ALWAYS TREATED ME WITH KINDNESS AND RESPECT. GOD BLESS HER AND HER FAMILY.
