Carol, Sandra and Family,

I have been away on holidays and I just found out about Dorothy's passing at choir practice at the church last night. My deepest sympathy to you and your families. I do remember Dorothy when she sang in the choir at Winchester and even sitting in the pew at the back of the church. I know she will be sadly missed.

Sincerely,

Bruce and Mary Elizabeth Smith

Hi Carol Ann and Sandra:

Mary Elizabeth and I extend our deepest sympathy to you and your families in this great loss to us all. Aunt Dot was a sweetheart to me and I still remember as far back as Port Hood where Aunt Dot taught me to swim and always showed love to us all. She will be missed to the whole clan. We send you our love and pray for strength and peace through this time,

Carol, Sandra and family:

My deepest sympathy for the family in this difficult time. Dorothy will be missed by all who had the good fortune to have known her. I am sorry I did not hear in time to attend the funeral.

Great Aunt Dot was such a vibrant, elegant woman with a great zest for life. I remember visits and dinners with her and Uncle Jack as a child. I had lovely lunches and chats with her and my Nannie (Margaret Nash) when she would visit Halifax and Chester. While it has been many years since I saw her, I did often think of her, especially when I heard that the two sisters were visiting.

Sincere condolences to Carol and Sandra, on the loss of your mother.
