Dorothy Majury

MAJURY, Dorothy nee: Markowski January 20, 1921 - July 27, 2009 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our sister Dorothy. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Matt Majury (1999), her parents Anton and Anastasia Markowski and brother Bill in infancy. Dorothy is survived by sisters Olga Hawrysh, Kay Keaschuk and brothers Mike and Peter Markowski (Joan) and as well as many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Dorothy taught school in rural Saskatchewan, Alberta, Toronto and finished her teaching career with the Sherwood Park School Board. Dorothy was a caring person, who loved nature as shown in her oil paintings and in her garden of beautiful roses. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed. Funeral Services will be held at Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 - Fort Road on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m with Interment to follow.
