Mom there are not enough words to tell you how I feel being with out you. I feel so very sad but at the same time I feel peace that you are truly home now and at peace. One day you will welcome all your children and grand children and the great grandchildren as you used to welcome us home form school with a drink and home made donuts. Please kiss Ogie for me and tell her how much I love her'. Till we meet again know that there will not be a day that I won't be thinking of you. I will love you forever and ever.

Dear Mama
I am so Happy I got to share the last 2 weeks of your life with you. The memories we shared will be forever in my Heart to Chetish. I will Never forget one night when I was getting ready to leave . You motioned to me to bend down that you wanted to tell me something you said," I love you with all my Heart, I know that when I go your Heart will hurt but, you will be okay." Then you played with my hair. You gave me a kiss goodnight and said will see you tomorrow . Little did I know that was the last thing you would say to me. I miss you so very much .

So many wonderful memories growing up on the farm and family visits. I'm sure she and Eunice, my mom, are raising some sort of ruckus and catching up. Rest in peace Aunt Dot.

I have so many memories of Aunt Dorothy, I know I'm going to miss her rice pudding. She was one of the most wonderful women I had the pleasure of knowing, She was well known for her Christmas Wreaths . But she was also well known for her cooking, What a wonderful cook she was. you could smell her home for block's before walking up to her door. Homemade breads, Pies, cakes, donuts, what ever she felt like cooking, you could smell it. She would also make her Jams & Jelly's.Pickles you name it she did it. Between my house and her house all I smelt was the Gaudette cooking. what I wasn't smelling at my house I could smell it at Aunt Dorothy's...there are not enough word's to express how mush I loved her and how much I am going to miss her. She touched so many lives. Anyone who knew my aunt can tell you how lovable and cheerful she was. Always smiling. You ask her something she would pop out the answer. Smart as a whip. Very quick witted and Intelligent . and I'm going to miss her stories especially when you got her talking about her Mom ( My Grandmother) oh how I loved hearing about her, As I never had the pleasure of meeting my Grandmother. As she passed when my Dad was only 16. I can remember her telling me when My Dad and Aunt Dorothy was young, they were chopping wood. One would go up with the ax and the other would come down, Well she hit my Dad in the head splitting his head open. It was a Accident, But she thought she was going to get in trouble. but of course she didn't. I could go on and on and tell you story's she told me. But I'll keep the rest for others to tell. and keep my memories close to my heart...I'm going to miss you aunt Dorothy .. R.I.P

I'm Still Here

Friend, please don't mourn for me
I'm still here, though you don't see.
I'm right by your side each night and day
and within your heart I long to stay.

My body is gone but I'm always near.
I'm everything you feel, see or hear.
My spirit is free, but I'll never depart
as long as you keep me alive in your heart.

I'll never wander out of your sight-
I'm the brightest star on a summer night.
I'll never be beyond your reach-
I'm the warm moist sand when you're at the beach.

I'm the colorful leaves when fall comes around
and the pure white snow that blankets the ground.
I'm the beautiful flowers of which you're so fond,
The clear cool water in a quiet pond.

I'm the first bright blossom you'll see in the spring,
The first warm raindrop that April will bring.
I'm the first ray of light when the sun starts to shine,
and you'll see that the face in the moon is mine.

When you start thinking there's no one to love you,
you can talk to me through the Lord above you.
I'll whisper my answer through the leaves on the trees,
and you'll feel my presence in the soft summer breeze.

I'm the hot salty tears that flow when you weep
and the beautiful dreams that come while you sleep.
I'm the smile you see on a baby's face.
Just look for me, friend, I'm everyplace!

To Dorothy's family,
I am sorry for your loss. Your mom was a lovely lady and her laugh was contagious, she always had a story to tell of her family. I had the pleasure of caring for her when she was a resident at
Starr Farm Facility.

Gram and my Dad, happy to know they are together again. love you both.
