POVEY, DOROTHY LUCY-It is with deep sadness the family announces the sudden passing of a very dear Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandma, Great-grandma and Friend. Dorothy passed away on November 23, 2005 at her home in Estevan. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband of 56 years and her five children, Glen (Julie) Povey of Regina, Sharon (Garry) Bowes of Saskatoon, Diane (Mark) McKerricher of Bengough, Shelley (Trevor) Price of Regina and Reg (Colleen) Povey of Saskatoon; 16 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren. Dorothy was born on October 22, 1922 in Oxbow. She taught school in Mayflower Carnduff, Orangedale, Glen Ewen, Dalesboro, Oxbow and Bengough areas and married Fred in 1949. Dorothy and Fred lived in Oxbow, Bengough and finally retired in Estevan. A Mass in celebration of Dorothy's life will be held Saturday, November 26th at 3:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church in Estevan with Father Peter Nijssen. A prayer service will be held Friday, November 25th at 7:30 p.m. at Orsted Funeral Home, Estevan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross Foundation. Orsted Funeral Home is in charge of the service. Bob MoyseAllan Styre www.orstedfuneralhomes.com

I just read the obituary...I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Dorothy's passing. Dorothy is in a much better place now...no more pain. My deepest sympathy to Uncle Fred and family.
