Dorothy Rainbow Obituary

RAINBOW - The death of Dorothy Rainbow, age 94 years of Rosthern, formerly of Sonningdale, occurred on June 7, 2007. She is survived by her son Bruce (Susan) Rainbow, daughter Betty (Ron) Virtue; five grandchildren Heather (Gary) Garman, Crystal Rainbow, Douglas Virtue, Lisa Kimpton, Ron (Kerry) Virtue, and six great-grandchildren; sisters Mary Bennett and Muriel Montgomery; brother Clifford (Kay) Lowe; sister-in-law Margaret Lowe. She was predeceased by her husband John Rainbow, parents Andrew and Elizabeth Lowe, brother Bob Lowe, and sister Myra Strain/Nygaard. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Funk's Funeral Chapel, 1010 7th Street, Rosthern, with Rev. Rudy Froese officiating. Memorial donations may be made to The Children's Wish Foundation of Saskatchewan, Box 309, Saskatoon, SK S7K 3L3. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Rosthern Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Funk's Funeral Home, Rosthern (232-5245).
