Dorothy F. Ricciarelli QUINCY Dorothy F. (Travis) Ricciarelli, age 69, of Quincy, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at home after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy and Braintree parochial schools, Saint Josephs Elementary and Archbishop Williams High School, Class of 1956. She was a lifelong Quincy resident and parishioner at Saint Josephs Church in Quincy. Mrs. Ricciarelli was a homemaker but had also worked as a data processor for the former Howard Johnson Company in Quincy and the Advanced Automation Company in Weymouth. She enjoyed camping and with her late husband vacationed for thirty-five years at Papoose Pond in Maine. Mrs. Ricciarelli was devoted to her family and especially to her grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Ronald C. Ricciarelli. Devoted mother of Ronald G. Ricciarelli and his wife Linda of Weymouth, Daniel F. Ricciarelli and his wife Betsy of Salem, John J. Ricciarelli and his wife Lori of Peabody, James M. Ricciarelli and his wife Joanne of Rockland, Mark J. Ricciarelli and his wife Heather of Weymouth, Robert Ricciarelli and his wife Jennifer of Braintree, Anthony Ricciarelli and his wife Jennifer of Braintree, Mary Beth McCarren and her husband David of NH. Also survived by fourteen loving grandchildren. Sister of the late John Travis, Jr. Sister-in-law of Paul Ricciarelli of Braintree, Peter Ricciarelli of Plymouth and North Fort Myers, FL and Michael Ricciarelli of Hingham. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Saturday, January 10 at 9:15AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Josephs Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy at 10 oclock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours Friday 4 8 PM. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy. For those who wish, donations in Mrs. Ricciarellis memory may be made to Saint Josephs Church, c/o 556 Washington Street, Quincy, MA 02169.
