Dorothy 'Dottie' Slurff SchenectadyDorothy Dottie Slurff, 80, of Schenectady, died Wednesday, October 31st at Ellis Hospital. Dottie was born in Schenectady, a daughter of the late John and Beatrice Tillison Kral. She graduated from Nott Terrace High School and married Edward F. Slurff, who predeceased her in 1994. Dottie worked as a clerk at the City Mission of Schenectady for many years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church. Dottie is survived by her son, Martin E. Slurff; daughter in-law, Heidi Primett Slurff; grandchildren, Emily Slurff, Frederick Slurff Jr. and Andrea Slurff. Predeceased by her children, Frank Slurff, Donna Lynn Slurff and Frederick E. Slurff Sr. Relatives and friends are invited to a prayer service on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.), Schenectady. For those who wish, calling hours will be from 5 p.m. Monday to the time of the service. A graveside service will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schenectady.
