Dorothy A. Yaissle, 93, of Pottsville, died Nov. 17 at Providence Place, Pottsville.

Born in Pottsville, Aug. 4, 1921, she was a daughter of the late G. Raymond and Clara Rosenberger Letcher.

She was a graduate of Pottsville High School and worked for many years at the family business, the former Yaissle Auto Body, Pottsville.

Dorothy was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Pottsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Yaissle, on Sept. 28, 1990, and a brother, Bud Letcher.

Surviving are her son, Jack Yaissle and his wife, Barbara, Allentown; three grandchildren, Deborah Stephens and her husband, Eric, Kimberly Howard and her husband, Todd, and Jill Bundy and her husband, Greg; four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Megan, Luke and Jake.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with Pastor James R. Fidler officiating. Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to the American Heart Association, 968 Postal Road, Suite 10 Allentown PA, 18109.
